Whole Lamb/Hogget Box

Our whole lamb box comes with 2 different cut options:

Traditional cuts:

• 4 x half shoulder joints

• 4 x half leg joints

• Cutlets

• Chops

• Breast plate

• Kidneys

• Neck chops

Modern cuts:

• 4 x half shoulder joints

• 2 x leg joints

• 2 x packs of leg steaks

• Cutlets

• Chops

• 2 x 500g lamb mince

• Neck chops

We choose to leave the neck fillets in our shoulder joints as it provides a much better roasting joint.

All our meat is hung for a minimum of 7 days. The minimum weight for the whole lamb box is 13kg although we do aim for more. The modern cuts whole lamb box can sometimes weigh less as it has some bone removed.

Our lamb boxes include free delivery across mainland UK. The lamb comes chilled in a wool insulated box with ice packs, designed by WoolCool (occasionally it may come freshly frozen).

A whole lamb box will take up roughly 2 full draws in your freezer

We do one delivery day each week and you can choose which delivery week you’d like at the checkout.

We use a family-run, local abattoir and butcher to prepare our meat. Each cut is then individually vacuum sealed (apart from chops and cutlets which are still packed, but are not done in a vacuum).

All our weights are the minimum amount you will receive.
